If you’re considering using finasteride to treat your hair loss, there are a number of options available to you. The most common ones are minoxidil and finasteride. However, these topical medications are not the only option available.
These treatments require a prescription. While they can be an effective solution for treating hair loss, they are not the same as cures. In order for a product to work, you need to meet a number of factors.

Minoxidil belongs to a class of drugs known as5-alpha-reductase inhibitors. It works by relaxing the hair on the scalp, which helps regrow hair
Minoxidil is a topical medication that is used to treat hair loss in men and women. It is available in several forms, includingintravenousorintramuscularThe intravaginal route is the preferred option for some patients due to its convenience and availability.
While both topical medications andmedication are effective for treating hair loss, they do have some differences. Minoxidil is absorbed more rapidly than finasteride and requires more preparation
It is important to note that these medications cannot be substituted for one another. You must consult with your healthcare provider about whether a medication should be taken
Finasteride is an oral medication that is used to treat hair loss in men. It works by reducing the amount of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that the body makes, which causes hair loss.
On the other hand, intramuscular finasteride is taken by mouth, which helps to regrow hair.
Both medications provide similar results. intramuscular finasteride is taken once daily, while topical finasteride is taken twice daily

Hi there, I’m very sorry for the question. I know what you’re thinking, but I’m curious as I’ve been on so many hair loss and prostate issues that have gone untreated in the last few years. I’m looking for a hair loss treatment that works in my case.
I started off with a prescription from my GP which was prescribed for about 1 year. Within 2 months it was so bad I could no longer see the hair loss. I got on an oral Propecia, which was supposed to help me to stop hair loss and I got the prescription filled and I had a full head of hair, but I have now had an oral finasteride prescription and it hasn’t helped much. I would have been interested in trying something like finasteride, but this is a hair loss treatment and it is very expensive.
I’ve heard that it is possible to get hair loss from oral medications. I’ve heard that a lot of hair loss is caused by the fact that the hair follicles aren’t growing, so you need to take your medication. You can also take a topical medication like Minoxidil but it’s a cheaper alternative and works as well.
So I’m going to try to get my hair loss treatment and finasteride in the first place.
Thanks
P. S. My hair loss has started within 3 months of my GP’s prescription. My hair is still completely bald but I can no longer see my hair loss as the crown and hairline is still visible. I’m not sure what to expect from the new treatment, I’m not sure why it has started. The most noticeable side effect is a bit of water retention, which is a real concern for me.
I’m also considering going for a hair transplant, but as you have no medical reasons to want to do that, I’ll stick with a hair transplant.
The best I can say about this treatment is that it can be done in the first place.
I’m on a prescription for about 5 months, and it is getting better but I’m still not sure if it’s worth the cost.
I understand that the hair loss treatment is a bit expensive but I think the cost should be the same. I’ll definitely try to make an appointment with my GP and see what the cost is.I’ve heard that a lot of people are going to be concerned about this. I’m a bit hesitant to go back to this and I’m a bit embarrassed about it. I’m hoping it works as well as it did before.Thank you for the detailed response
I think this hair loss treatment may be worth a try. If you have any further questions or concerns then feel free to ask. Thanks again!
I really appreciate all the help and support. The cost of hair transplant surgery is a bit higher than I was expecting. I think it’s worth considering whether this would work or not for you.
Thanks again for all the help!If you are interested in trying this for a hair transplant, please send me a message to [email protected]. I can’t recommend anything better than Propecia as it has been shown to be very effective in treating hair loss. If you have any further questions or concerns then contact me.I’m on Propecia and Finasteride for hair loss, and I’m looking to get my hair loss treatment as well.
I’ll definitely do that.I hope this information helps. This is an excellent blog. I’m extremely grateful for this post. It was a great experience.

November 26, 2011 5:05amHi
I was wondering if you might be able to get a hair transplant. I was interested to see what a consultation with a GP was with. It’s a bit pricey, and I think it’s a lot cheaper than buying a prescription.
Propecia is a prescription medication approved by the FDA to treat male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men. It is available in 1mg, 5mg and 10mg tablets.
The active ingredient in Propecia is finasteride, a synthetic 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Finasteride is a type II 5-alpha reductase inhibitor and is known as an antiandrogen. It works by blocking the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that causes hair follicles to shrink, leading to thinner hair and a loss of hair.
Propecia is only available in tablet form and comes in a convenient pack. It can be taken with or without food, and may take several months to show results. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle crushed or broken Propecia tablets.
Propecia is not recommended for use by women who are experiencing hair loss or for those who are pregnant.
Propecia is a tablet that is taken by mouth. It is important to take Propecia exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are taking it as prescribed, then take it as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking Propecia or change your dosage without checking with your doctor.
Propecia is not recommended for use by children.
If you have any medical conditions, take your medication as directed by your doctor. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
